2 Corinthians

2 Corinthians 1

v04: who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

v20: For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

2 Corinthians 2

v07: so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

v11: lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2 Corinthians 3
v03: clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
v14: But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.

v18: But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4
v03: But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

v17: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

v18: while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 5
v07: For we walk by faith, not by sight.

v10: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

v17: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

v20: Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 6
v02: For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
v14: Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

2 Corinthians 7
v10: For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

2 Corinthians 8
v09: For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

2 Corinthians 9
The Cheerful Giver
v
06: But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

v07: So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

v08: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

2 Corinthians 10
v04: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

v05: casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

v10: "For his letters," they say, "are weighty and powerful, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible."

v18: For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

2 Corinthians 11

v25: Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;

2 Corinthians 12

v02: I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a one was caught up to the third heaven.

The Thorn in the Flesh

v07: And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

v08: Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

v09: And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Love for the Church

v14: Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

2 Corinthians 13

Coming with Authority - Paul's Warning; Greetings and Benediction

v01: This will be the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established."

v05: Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?  unless indeed you are disqualified.
