Ephesians

Ephesians 1

v3: Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ,

v4: just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

Ephesians 2

v8: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

v9: not of works, lest anyone should boast.

v10: For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

v:14: For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation

Ephesians 3
v20: Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Ephesians 4
v8: Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."
v9: Now this, "He ascended"--what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

v11: And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

v12: for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

v26: "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

v27: nor give place to the devil.

v29: Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

v32: And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 5
v16: redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
v18: And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
Marriage--Christ and the Church
v22: Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

v25: Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

Ephesians 6
Children and Parents - Family Responsibilities; the Christian's Armor
v1: Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

v2: "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:

v3: "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."
V7: with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

v8: knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
v11: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

v12: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

v13: Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
v14: Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

v15: and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

v16: above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
